LIZ JONES FASHION THERAPY

When pure trend, which is really the only way to talk to "see through", appeared on the podium at Givenchy in July 2011, I was horrified. You can use the models panties!

Women will not wear, I whispered furiously. It's rude, impractical, silly. Again, we are told that something that is totally inconsiderate to wear.

Two years later, some of my alarm, thought still stands aghast, and I think that means I'm at least not completely brainwashed by the PR mode.

Many of the pure substance in stores and on the high street is ridiculous.

Sheer bag, anyone? Choose from a clear Plexiglas cube with gold chain and leather Chanel, € 5,860, a bag Burberry Prorsum transparent plexiglass with gold-plated closure, £ 895, Gucci bag or transparent Plexiglas, 770 pounds. Almost every designer has developed a version.

But transparent bags are like going out with a big sticker on the front saying, 'Rob Me Now "

Some - like the version on Zara - come with small inner skirts for modesty, but the overall trend is opposite so boring and imaginative.

Horrible Also pure biker jackets and coats in stores, like white nylon jacket, £ 350, and clear vinyl trench, £ 510, both by Wanda nylon. You are stiff, and also tend to make everything look pretty worn under strange - unless it's a plain white T.

Or how steep pants, as seen on the podium at Stella McCartney?

But may be carried out with pure class. Take, for example, the color blocked skirt Helmut Lang, with only one square of pure shimmering hem, as an array of delicate Mondrian. Christopher Kane has the nipple and bra visible mystery solved, clear that the main causes of biting a big bow on the bust pure purple organza dress (£ 480, Liberty).

But I have a rather simple t-shirt, so that it can work with long tails peek under a cashmere sweater or navy blue blazer, it is also great on a bikini on the beach cover as an alternative to the sarong.

Pure pants (as seen on the podium in Emilio Pucci) may look wonderful as it is in a delicate chiffon, slide the ankle, and perhaps a touch of embroidery.

And of course, pure look great for the evening. This is a great cover for the arms and neck, and a socket on a pure black dress holds all feeling quite summery.

I bought a tunic dress with transparent sleeves in black, with black beads on the bodice, back William Oxfam Vintage Edition for only £ 31.

Made in the thirties, it goes with jeans, or is fabulous for the evening tuxedo pants.

I love you too, that slinky dress by Victoria Beckham (left), with its sheer cutout: modest, beautiful, still summer - and priced at £ 1,000.

Before fainting, M & S has a version of stretch cotton by Per Una Speziale, for 85 pounds. Simply brilliant, less than a tenth of the price.
